Stand-up paddleboarding
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a relatively new activity to WYCC, but interest has grown considerably over the past few years.
It started in Melksham from a WASPs grant and a few motivated coaches and has become increasingly popular. ​
Recreational kayaking
WYCC has a long history of kayaking and canoeing, ranging from recreational kayaking to slalom to white water river racing to flat water sprint racing.

Recreational kayaking/canoeing ranges from a gentle paddle on the River Avon in Melksham to the white water rapids of the upper River Dart in Devon and the River Tryweryn at Bala and all rivers in between.
Competition kayaking
Competiton kayaking/canoeing also occurs on all types of water.
The club has played its part in winning the lightening category at the Nottingham Regatta, to River racing championships to Olympic medals.
