WYCC's AGM and Committee Elections

Each year WYCC holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

 

This year the AGM is to be held on Saturday 21st March 2026, 12 noon, in the hall above the WYCC boat house.

 

Everybody is more than welcome and this meeting is a good time to look back over the past year, and to look forward to the next.

 

At the AGM the Committee will be asking members to approve the minutes of the previous AGM, and to review and reapprove the constitution for WYCC.

 

However, the main element of the AGM is where the Committee is elected for the next 12 months. If you would like to know more please contact a member of the committee for an informal discussion.

 

All positions on the committee will be elected, and if you would like to get involved and stand for election please pass your name onto a member of the current committee 48 hours before the AGM.

 

The constitution states that the committee must have the following positions:

 

Chairperson,

Welfare Officer,

Secretary Treasurer,

Safety and Equipment Officer,

However, these roles are the minimum required, and the current committee has the following positions:

 

Chairperson,

Welfare Officer,

Welfare Officer (2nd),

Secretary/Treasurer,

Membership Secretary,

Safety and Equipment Officer,

Coaching Coordinator,

Press/Social Media,

Youth Representative,
